The International Chamber for Art and Design is being created as an independent platform dedicated to connecting the people, organisations and institutions shaping the worlds of art, design, craftsmanship and the creative industries.

Its ambition is to create a space for dialogue, collaboration and representation across disciplines and borders.

The Chamber will bring together designers, artists, craftspeople, studios, galleries, cultural institutions, hospitality actors, brands and companies sharing a common interest in creativity, transmission and the value of making.

Its role will be to encourage meaningful connections, facilitate exchanges between different fields and countries, and create opportunities for projects, conversations and collaborations that might not otherwise meet.

Particular attention will be given to savoir-faire, craftsmanship, cultural transmission and the relationship between creativity and place.
