Montileoni Commissions is an open invitation to imagine such pieces. A work, an object or a textile can be commissioned for a person, a home, a celebration, a club, a hotel, a company or an institution. We help give the idea a form, connect it with the artists and artisans of our network, and accompany its creation through to delivery.
WORKS
A painting for a room. A drawing connected to a place. A ceramic piece, sculpture or decorative work conceived around a particular story. Each commission begins with an intention rather than a catalogue. The artist, medium, scale and expression are considered according to the place, the person and the feeling the work is meant to carry.
OBJECTS
An object can mark a moment, recognise an achievement or become part of a ritual. Trophies, table pieces, gifts and signature objects can be imagined as a single commission or a small series, developed around a particular occasion, identity or use.
The purpose is not simply to personalise something that already exists. It is to create the piece the moment calls for.
TEXTILES & EMBROIDERY
A monogram embroidered for one person. A motif created for a room. A textile developed for a celebration, a club or an entire place.
Montileoni works with embroidery, weaving and printing to translate an idea into material, from a single cushion or linen piece to a more complete ensemble.

BRIEF
Tell us what you have in mind, however precise or unfinished the idea may be.
PROPOSAL
We shape the direction, identify the appropriate savoir-faire and introduce the artist or artisan suited to the project.
PROTOTYPE
When needed, a drawing, sample or prototype allows the piece to take form before production.
PRODUCTION
Once approved, the commission is made and followed through to delivery.
Every commission is considered individually. Its quotation reflects the nature of the idea, the materials, the savoir-faire involved and the time required to make it. A deposit is requested when the commission is confirmed. The remaining balance is due upon delivery.
